The RE Retrospective continues! Today we delve into the aftermath of Umbrella's fall. The games that cover this part of the timeline are arguably the weakest in the series, although it has one of the most popular installments in the series: Code Veronica. So let's podcast and chill. You bring the snacks, I'll bring a condom. Enjoy!
Resident Evil Lore continues! Mike, known for his role as Albert Wesker on the Assist Me web series sticks around to get balls deep into the history, production, and lore of one of our most beloved franchises. Today we talk Raccoon City. This encompasses several games, so we could talk about it for hours, but we do our best to get you the details and some of our favorite fun tidbits. Sit back, and get comfortable. We're gonna have a four way with your ear holes, zombie-files!
It's finally here! We talk lore, we talk production (some) and we talk trash! Welcome to part one of four for the RE Retrospective featuring special guest Mike (Wesker on Assist Me). Shine on!
Nintendo courts Apple and Sony goes Pro all while Microsoft beats its meat and passive aggressively tweets at Sony. What do I mean? I mean Nintendo leaned harder into mobile with Super Mario Run at the Apple Press event today while Sony talk for forty minutes about HDR and 4k TVs. All while Microsoft quietly dances by themselves and plans its Scorpio debut! This is a real opportunity for Microsoft to get some ground back. Let's see if they drop the ball!
We have a special guest! Mike is one of the badass trail blazers from Easy Allies. They're the group of Game Trailers guys that turned to Patreon after Defy Media laid everyone off. He's been in the media aspect of the gaming industry for 8 plus years. Today we talk about the transition from corporate network to independent journalism as well as Zelda, magic, NX rumor comparisons, and speed running. The last half hour we get more in depth into Easy Allies, and the challenges they face. It's an interesting talk, and a lot of fun, so sit back and get in on this!
